About Me
Jody Swanson was born and raised in northern Alberta, Canada. She graduated from the University of Alberta and was a teacher in Athabasca, Boyle, and Westlock. Jody opened her first studio in 1995 and taught classes at the Athabasca Pottery Club from 1995 - 2009. Jody is influenced by nature, the rolling wheat fields and her Metis heritage. Her work can be found online, Centre d'arts visuels de l'Alberta, Alberta Craft Council, local gifts shops and galleries.
